| GEMS IBM BlueGene version is released, which allows the IBM BlueGene users to use thousands of nodes to simulate a huge EM problem in a very short time. GEMS blueGene version can speed up the pre-processing up to 400 times. For example, the pre-processing time using a regular EM simulation tool on BlueGene supercomputer is 7 hours; however, GEMS will complete the same job in one minute! |
